Stuck at the start screen

The game worked fine for me all day yesterday I go to play today and I keep hitting start at the start screen but nothing happens now anyone know how to fix this

if you are with the controller you have to point the arrow (cursor) and hit the start botton. It stupid yeas i know. But the devs couldn't do it any better.
