Report a translation problem
Tick the checkbox "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" then choose Proton Experimental from the drop down, it should then load with no black screen.

These were taken in desktop mode on a connected monitor, but the same is in gaming mode on the Deck's display.
Odd, i've played around 6hrs on experimental with no issues so no idea whats going on. I have had games like e.g. Persona 4 go from playing videos ok to then not when I reinstalled. I was playing around with various branches of SteamOS so that could be why.
Either way, at least you have it working
The Iwakura - Kino section is especially bad.
