EDIT: For the record, it was 803km shrine-only, and 849km gas and shrine and neat thing I won't spoil. On the way there, when the fights start piling up, at fight start I might suggest switching to your preferred target and then mashing R1 in the face of evil, which as you might remember is not something to falter in. I'm at the start of Act 2, I have no money, I used all my extra trinkets to upgrade to Rank IV-V-ish, but due to what I'm guessing are elemental weaknesses all of my party gets slaughtered in all fights. I didn't know the elemental stuff was coming! I didn't know I would need to hang on to extra trinkets and shouldn't use them to upgrade stuff as often as possible! I don't want to start over at Act 1, so I'm hoping that someday there will be a difficulty that allows me to win fights super easy - right now...
