In defense of Riot Forge and Bandle Tale
I don't know much about Riot Forge, but from what I've read, they are a publisher, and they basically put money in and shared their license with the development studios they counted on to make video games with their IP. Riot forge are not development studios, and the studios they have worked with will have no problem continuing with their next projects. For example, in the case of Bandle Tale, they are the creators of Punch Club and Graveyard Keeper... Badle Tale is simply another project and now they will move on to the next, without the League of Legends IP, of course. Therefore, the fact that Riot has fired people who have made money with this and the other projects after they end, there is nothing strange about it, in fact it is logical. But keep in mind that by closing Riot Forge they have not closed any development studio that made the games, in any case they would have fired some developers who could have helped in the games and the positions involved in the publisher process, but as I say that's normal. They may not have made enough profit for this to be profitable enough, but I think that no game has been a failure, but they were all niche and the LOL IP has not been enough to globalize them.

That said, I haven't tried all the other Riot Forge games, although I have seen the gameplays, but I think this Bandle Tale may be one of the best, if not the best. You can see the hand of the creator of Graveyard Keeper, through the mechanics, the talent tree, even the dialogues and the well-told story, all set in the world of yordles, with a friendlier and less hardcore touch. I recommend it.

Up. Wow I knew this game is niche, but not that much. There are really low player base, are not?
