But there's nothing of interest except of some pretty insignificant resources there right now.
The only thing that needs phosphorus right now is the enzyme, which is only needed to be sold at the stock market IIRC.
I spend 50,000 Credits and all my Titanium and Cobalt as well as a lot of other stuff to get the license. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the lack of new possibilities there. The industrial license was expensive as well - but then, there were underground mines and new resources and adventures and stuff.
Don't get me wrong. I love this game. And I love, how passionate and quick you're responding to player inputs. Don't let you be rushed. A simple: "Well, there's plenty more to come, we're in EA and this isn't the end" will fulfill my needs :)

Like the other areas it can suffer from poor RNG (really small planetoids), but my second agriculture sector had some nice sized ones with a lot of greenhouse-like structures which yielded significantly more salvageable items.
Would be pretty cool if there were POIs included that had small farms with the edible crops (i.e. corn, tomatoes, pumpkins).
