We haven’t decided on that yet.

What would you think is reasonable?

I would buy day 1 if it were $20-maybe $30, any more than that and I would wait for a sale.

depends on what is offered at early access launch. If it has a similar formula to helldivers and deeprock galactic where you're in a hub, choose mission, complete mission, return to hub, and repeat then $30 early access and $40 launch.

if it has a lengthy campaign coop tied to it $40 early access, $50 launch.

if it has those 2 and a pvp mode then $50 early access to $60 launch

That's how I personally value games. Judging by the footage though, it looks like something I'd totally love. If it is a similar formula to deeprock with lots of upgrades and cosmetics to unlock that makes repeating missions rewarding, then I'd be more than happy for a $40 early access price since I'm not a pvp player and not so interested in a short single player campaign since it's clearly a coop game

I second this, but the higher you go the less likely a group of friends will each fork out $50 - $60 compared to $30ish - $40ish

I would probably start with 20 with a small launch day discount to get more friend groups to play on launch day.

$15USD at launch and then $25 as it is fleshed out. If people put in upwards of 100 hours (as shown by their reviews) $35.

If we look at Deep Rock Galactic price history as a comparison, that was $14.99 as a 50% discount launch special then has remained at $29.99 with an often trend of a 67% discount making it $9.89.

DRG also has cosmetic DLC, so I think people who purchase at the cheaper price and have put in hundreds of hours in the game feel investing a bit more support to the devs well worth it.

Personally I have purchased 4 or 5 copies of DRG as since I enjoy it so much I want my family and friends to play with me the $15AUD ($9.89 USD) special is cheap enough that I've been happy to risk them never playing it. I used to like the 4 copy game bundles but that doesn't appear to be a thing on steam anymore.

Asking the community is a step in the right direction. Judging by the game trailer DLC skins for the player and space ship could be a thing.

I would not look to Helldivers 2 for inspiration/comparison, that game hit the jackpot of going viral and I think it is well over priced currently just because dEmOcRaCy.

do 30 dollars, you'll get more money in the long term, think more about steam gift cards, 35 is usually the most you can get (asides from others but most people don't have the money), also maybe have a sale often so one guy in a friend group is like "yo guys, jump ship is on sale, you should get it!"

basically, instead of making the game 80 dollars and only having one person in a friend group buy it, you can make it 30 so a group of 2-5 can earn more money than one 80 dollar purchase

30 dollars in US/EU is cheaper than 30 dollars in Argentina, Brazil, etc. It can be a fatal price in those regions. I'd say 10-15 $$ for other regions with lower standart of living. People will just pirate the game if price goes too high.

30 should be fair (for EA)

£30-40 EA to 1.0 would seem reasonable for a cool coop PvE game.

Add in PvP then you better go higher as lower customer base and I wouldn't be buying either.
Look at HD2 coop PvE excellence, much success and $$$'s

We would need to see raw gameplay and a features breakdown of the game before being able to consider a value-proposition for the game. If it's just another generic 'instance based' shooter like any of the other 30 similar games already on the market, then anything above $30 during EA would be too much, but if it's something closer to Outriders which actually has a good campaign + lots of polish, then $40 or a bit higher is fine.
no more than 20 bucks, preferably around 10 / 15 bucks, and im in.

Would need to know how post game sale monetization is being planned. Doing seasonal battle passes, premium credit store for skins, dlc packs sold alongside free updates. That and not knowing the amount of content makes pricing difficult. If this were a full release and not EA might say $40-$50 to compare to other coop games in the genre.

Oh absolutely, I hadn't considered that. I don't buy games that have battle passes. I don't support double dipping.

20-30 price range sounds reasonable to me. 40 is pushing it. It's got to have a lot of content in it if it's 40. I'm also done getting games that are 50+ or more. Been burnt too many times with paying that much only to get disappointed.
