Game does not load

Been playing for 9 months, mostly on Steam. Then this started. I have reinstalled the game, verified game files over and over, and nothing worked. The game will start, and I will get this message:

Failed to update game (Error: List DL: Cfg File Download Failed). Closing game.

Has anybody else had this problem? What did you do to solve it?

just started for me today. loged in got ships ready for war logged out to play bg3 and came in to see that it failed to connect to servers. been stuck ever since

"cant find Server".... same like Digital...ships out for war lol, deinstall , etc...same no chance to get in
