I found this game amazing until I got in to PvP.

I really liked this game until I began to play PvP. I will explain why.

Unlocked ships is kinda easy, opening lootboxes and you will get a decent amount of them. Some ships have a lower drop rate then others, but it's fairly doable.

Once you unlocked a ship, you can build it with ingame resources and also upgrade it with techpoints. Those techpoints can be spend in upgrading ship systems and weapons.

When you have enough points, your ship becomes V2 and eventually V3.

And here comes why I start hating this game.

Those techpoints can be earned by ingame exp farming, which is a VERY SLOW and I mean a VERY SLOW progress. A otherway to unlock more techpoints is by opening lootboxes and hopefully you draw the same blue-print of the same ship you own, to unlock extra variants or systems or turn it in to techpoints.

Some people who spend A LOT of money (we call them whales) also unlock way more techpoints. And i've been constantly attacked by whales who have the same ships as me, but as v3 while I still have V1.

My fleet get's destroyed so fast, that I can't do ♥♥♥♥. Our union and alliance have a though time, we can't do ♥♥♥♥ because we are against a Union full with whales. Only V2 and V3 ships. Our fun is just gone, we even have people that are thinking in quitting the game.

This game isn't fun anymore but a straight up irritated mess. We can't wait for the next season and be over with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

One chest cost 5 bucks to buy. If you are very lucky and draw the same BP, you can get 5 to 10 techpoints. Otherwise you get 1 techpoint per chest, per class. You need 100 techpoints to reach V2. So, go figure how much you need to be lucky and/or need to spend money.

Each variant uses their own techpoints and on top of that, you also have different classes. So, technically you need to open hundreds of chests to get all those ships to V2 and thousands of chest to get V3 ships.

If you look at the stats, V2 ships have triple more stats as a V1. How can I win a PvP fight like this? Don't get me started on V3 ships.

i cant remember how many phases i played 5 or 6, but nowdays i only live in the asteroids field and ill hunt the whales and make them crying in the chat... i destroy theirs mining plataforms ahahah and wait for them in the fog... i can defeat 5 or 6 fleets at same time LOL

im not playing the game in a serious way... i just want to colect all the ships bluprints... im a sad colector LOL

It's also very ironic that this is coming from a private profile yet again. Please add something to this topic or just shut up and go troll somewhere else. Your trolling is absolutly boring and stupid, which doesn't make any sense at all.

Going back on-topic.

Hiding in a astroid is a way to play. But keep in mind that you limit yourself massively aswell. I've been in wars with alliances, and helping union and alliance members isn't going to work if you hide somewhere in a astroid, only destroying mining platforms.

And why would they "cry" in chat, because you live in a astroid field, only destroying mining platforms? Why would they bother with you? They just ignore you and attack other targets, or destroy enemy hives. So why would they cry that doesn't make anysense.

Nowadays mining platforms are so cheap and easy to build, that they even use it for rally points in battles. And you are so happy to destroy them, from a astroid field?

This game is heavily aimed at P2W, if you like it or not. But it seems some people want to go on a personal and immature road again, but what else would you expect from the Steam forums.

It seems like everyone is a psychic nowadays, telling me that i'm "jealous" and that's why i'm complaining about P2W.

Yeah, have fun in a game where people who spend a lot of money to get V2 and even V3 ships. It destroys the whole fun in this game, most people in my union want to quit the game, because of this.

But noooooo, not the steam forums, the complaining is because of jealousy.

Well, if it is out of jealousy, then why is the European Union looking in to it, to ban lootboxes and P2W mechanics in games? Because it's considered as gambling and unfair. I haven't seen them saying "banning out of jealousy."

edit: yeah you can use platforms for moving fleets and making warp points... but you use the cheaper ones, right??

Oh, i'm sorry for replying to your comment. Sorry that I missed it, because i'm 24/7 online have no work, no private life and can be online every minute of the day on Steam. I also check my inbox every minute and reply to all comments right away and I never overlooked a reply.

Did you know that people have different playstyles. There are also people who want to contribute in wars, unions and friends instead of hiding in a astroid belt, only destroying mining platforms.

And yes, losing a mining platform is still cheaper as losing fleets. I rarely see any attacks on mining platforms nor mining ships. I see many direct attacks on player's bases. You wanna know why? Because they will lose their fleet, and all their mining operations in one blow.

So do your thing, and I do my thing.

This whole discussion doesn't change the fact that this game is P2W and it doesn't matter how you play it.

Let me ask you this question, if you keep on defending this game then why are you hiding in a astroid belt and only destroying mining platforms? Why limit yourself in such a way that you miss so much other stuff in this game?

If that is your playstyle, sure go ahead I won't stop you. But you are replying this tactic in a P2W topic. You are already giving a "answer" how to have more "fun" in a game that is heavily aimed at P2W.

So the moral of this story is very simple. I don't give a F, what tactic you use. It doesn't change the fact that this game is heavily P2W and you only limit yourself.

First off all, I haven't said anywhere that I only have the privileges to own a life and play a video game. If you run out of arguments, please don't make up stuff that haven't been said.

A second, you overlook the fact that this game is P2W. You keep on defending it and third, you limit yourself by only hiding in a astroid belt. Why would you hide in a astroid belt if this game isn't P2W? Why would you limit yourself if this game isn't P2W? You say it yourself, the way to have a blast with this game is by hiding in a astroid, so the whales can't attack you with big ships. Why else would you live in a astroid belt. If the whales didn't exist in the first place, you didn't need to hide in a astroid belt all the time. So, you deny the problem and yet you have a specific strategic to shield yourself off from whales which limits your own gameplay?

This is a unique game, there is none game like this on the mobile phone. If there was any competition, I would have left definitely the game.

Its p2w, but just move away to a different region. its not hard, and pvp is fun if ur evenly matched, and if you grind for a week, you will be.

Where is the point in long term playing game.

Welcome to mobile gaming, try Fortress Underground (i did spend like 1000 euro in 8 months and thats peanuts compared to what some spend) or any other mobile game... its all the same, same concept different setting. Whales or better said the alliances with most whales dominate these kinda games :)

But i must say these kinda games can be a lot of fun and the social aspect is great. Trick is to spend but do it wisely and not overspend. There is always gonna be someone stronger (spending more) then you.
