Can't get the game to launch....

I got this game as part of the humble bundle yesterday, and I can not get it to play. It just crashes on boot. Anyone else still having this issue? I see there was discussions in the past and all solutions in those discussions did not work for me. On a windows 11, 3071 TI laptop. 32 gig ram. i7 12th gen. Any information would be helpful.

Same here. It looks like this is a known issue that hasn't been resolved yet. Following this thread in the hopes someone comes along with a workable solution.

It's crazy that it's been an issue for so long and A: Capcom hasn't done anything about it and fixed it. B: steam is still letting it be sold when it doesn't actually work.

I've recently solved that problem.
As windows doesn't showed me any error message, I tought that the problem could be related to the graphic adapter, and there is the solution.
You must go to Windows Device Manager, and look at Display Adapters. In my case, as I use Citrix Indirect Display Adapter to connect to my Job, I disable it, and the game runs correctly.
If you have another virtual display adapter, try to disalble it -it's not necessary to uninstall it, only disable.

Worked for me. I had to disable meta virtual monitor.

While disabling the virtual adapter works and helps launch the game. I play around the house with a Razer Kishi Ultra controller that connects to my iPad Mini so disabling Razers virtual drive isn't really an option. Is there a way or fix for that? Thanks in advance.
