Custom controls?

I want to use my faithful Hori RAP Premium like I do in the emus but can't seem to figure out a way to do it in the game.

Get in the game you want to play, and then pause it, the controller configuration is in there. I went in and tried to figure it out, and that seems about right to me.

Did you manage to change your controller settings? There is no option to choose controls, only change difficulty, filter etc.

When the "press a button" alert appears, you need to press a button on your stick.
If that doesn't work, and you have another controller connected to your computer besides the stick, remove it and then restart windows, leaving only stick connected.

OK guys. My stick didn't register but I used Steam's "controller settings" and it works now!

I am trying to use an 8bitdo M30 and it has been so frustrating just trying to get controls mapped. I finally got to a point where I could apply it to one of the games and had to use my keyboard to select an item, then go back to the controller to map it. I was also able to remap the R3 coin action (such a dumb idea when people will want to use arcade/retro controllers with no equivalent) and got the game to a decent enough place. There was an option to apply the coin action to all games in the arcade, but I don't see an option to apply the rest of the controls to all games. So if I want to play ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAME I have to go through the whole process each time.
