It crashes immediately after starting the game.
When I start this software, it crashes after a black window appears for a few seconds.
Does anyone know a workaround?

I tried updating drivers and reinstalling, but no avail. It hasn't opened even once. The first collection works though.

Laptop
Intel Core i9-10980HK
Windows 10( 64Bit)
Intel UHD Graphics & Nvidia RTX 2080 Super with Max-Q design.

I tried already. I don't use advance optimus but only the dedicated gpu all the time, still crashing.

Capcom is currently investigating.
I received a request to provide information, so it seems that they are still investigating.

Tested on an old pc build that has Nvidia Geforrce GTX 750 Ti and it works flawless on Windows 10. So there it is a problem with newest hardware.

You can try to go to Device Manager and disable Nvidia RTX 2080 driver. That made it run on my laptop but I don't like that. I use always external monitor on my Nvidia card.

Just an update on what I did, it looks like pausing Windows Update for 35 days after updating my graphics drivers directly from Intel worked. If you manage to get it fixed but it keeps breaking, Windows Update may be the culprit.

Any updates with this? Has anyone gotten it to work? I just bought two games and ran into the same problem

I've had it working fine for a while now with current Intel graphics drivers. It took disabling Windows Update since it kept installing drivers that caused the crash. If current drivers don't work, try a different version.

I removed all of the USB devices, etc., as they may have become an obstacle, but it did not solve the problem.
Is there something in common with the hips that don't move?
I contacted Capcom again that it didn't work.
I had to wait again.

First Steam game that I haven't been able to even boot in a while.

CAS1 worked perfectly, I wish they would have just expanded it.

100% same here. Would have been so much better(and playable) if they just expanded the first one.

At the moment, the answer is that it's a device driver problem, and it seems that the only solution is a clean install, but there is no confirmation, so it seems that this will be the end of the exchange with Capcom.
I tried to stop the USB device etc. as much as possible, but it did not solve the problem.
For the time being, I also contacted Microsoft's feedback.
I'm hoping that at least I can figure out what device is causing it.
Hmm...

If you get a window popping up saying D3D caused the crash, it's your graphics drivers.

There is no pop-up or anything like that, just a black screen appears and it just crashes.

Did the update fix it for everyone?

I can't be sure if it did for me because Windows Update has finally quit installing the old video driver. But I am guessing that wasn't the issue for everyone.
