This is the response I've gotten, I'm not sure if it's just their usual response and how well some of these methods work. But maybe they'll be of some use to you all.
I had the standard answer, but I've tried all the methods and reported that it didn't work.
We seem to have to wait patiently.
It crashes on discrete high performance Nvidia Geforce 1660 Ti will all the drivers I have tested on.
Capcom Arcade Statium Version 1 works on both dedicated and internal GPU.
I am here on a laptop that runs AAA games like butter and this emulator crashes instantly.
So dear Capcom and Steam solve the problem.
It hits both Windows 10 and 11 (I'm on W10, 21H2 1826) seems to hit all types of CPU and video..
Windows 10 Home
Let's wait leisurely.
I hope it helps somebody (I suspect it won't work for everyone).
Strangely, my graphics driver said yet again that it needed to be updated. Before that point it was saying it was up to date. Updating it made it work again. I'll have to watch and see if it reverts yet again. I wonder if Windows Update or Dell's tools are updating it in the background to the one that isn't working.
I'm pausing Windows Update for 35 days (I know it isn't Dell because it hadn't installed any updates since April). I suspect it keeps installing the old driver which causes the D3D error.
