Capcom need to stop with censorship.
Yep, Street fighter 2 series still have "E Honda" stage censorship. This is not arcade perfect at all! Capcom, please uncensored this game and quit fooling around please.

What has been changed?
Not gonna happen. E. Honda’s Rising Sun being removed has been a thing since at least Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. It was changed in that. It was not, however in the 30th Anniversary Collection.

The US Air Force logo on the ground in Guile’s stage, and the Coca-Cola insignia on two of the crates in Chun-Li’s stage, has been either completely removed, or changed altogether since at least 2008.

Even in the Wii U VC releases of the World Warrior, II Turbo, and New Challengers, both of their stages have been affected, compared to the original SNES cartridge versions.

Honestly, they don’t bother me. Whoever Capcom hired to do the edits to the original ROM’s for these new re-releases, did a good job.

Guile’s new logo looks nice, and Chun-Li’s was simply changed to plain grey crates. With E. Honda you know something’s missing from the background, but at least they kept in the red and yellow flashing lights on the wall after winning. To me that’s more important, as I love that effect.

Besides the Coca-Cola logo, were they legally required to make these changes? I mean the USAF is funded by US tax payers. Same question for Afterburner Climax. That game is stuck in licensing hades cause Sega actually licensed the names of fighter jets everyone in the US paid to have developed.

Sometimes when games from the 80's and 90's are brought back, changes do have to be made due to licensing or changes in societal tastes. Arcade Archives: Vendetta (or Crime Fighters 2) on PS4 and Switch removed some "humping" sequences. Strangely they didn't really censor the first Crime Fighters game (the animated bathing suit adjustment on the subway remains) .

In the Pinball Arcade, lots of changes had to be made to re-release the original tables. (i.e. World Cup '94 becoming World Champion Soccer). Most of these games were made under the assumption that people would move on 6 months after the game's releases and didn't think there would still be the demand for them decades later.
