Thanks for the list I appreciate it! The team is looking through those as well.
congrats on the new game, I really think it will be a super title if it will recieve a little bit of love. I saw a random video on yt (on july 22nd) and it instanly got my attention. Since the video told about some small and big problems, I then read some positive and negative reviews on the steam page. Despite people having big issues that prevent them to play the game, I decided to buy the game coz i was too intrested. Since I loved it from the beginning and I really want it to improve, I started writing some big and minor problems that I encountered during this 10hrs since the tutorial started. I also read the post talking about the big common bugs and how to solve them, so I got rid of them in the below list (even tho i got like 80% of them). I really hope this will help!
BUGS/GLITCHES
- Glasses in the washing basin (kitchen) cannot be retrieve if placed in the farther part bacause it's overwritten by the "on/off" interactionwith the basin
- Awfull performance, probably the killer in term of game enjoyableness (90 early game - 40 mid, when I just unlocked the garden ** pc specs are listed below)
- 20L full beer keg appeared when given citrus aroma in the tutorial
- Even after removing beers from menu during service, customers keep asking for it
- Glitchy interations when placing items, causing them to vibrate in place and send flying other items if close enough (expecially in the kitchen with pots, fermenting buckets, and ingredient containers)
- when loading a save, items like to go trough shelves, tables and other slim elevated surfaces (eg. props with serving table, kegs and kitchen things with any shelves)
- bartender always spills too much beer, generating spots to clean (ps. it's nearly impossible to help serve the beer because by the time that you fill the glass and try to give it to the customer, then he says that "he's already been served")
- west coast ipa does not have the ingredients in order (unlike other recepies)
- the first pool table that you try to place is glitched. You need to cancel the action 2 times before beeing able to place it
- when unloading a serving tray by right clicking, a glass will always be put in your hand (not sure if wanted as mechanic or not)
- At random points in the game, items stop moving if picked up. The game does allow you to place them and they teleport but they have a super high chance to disappear. Reload of the save is needed (and you lose the bugged items either way)
MINOR:
- glitchy animation and sprites while cleaning glasses in the table-washer doens't always let you know that the glass is clean or not
Things i'd like to see added in the future (or maybe it's already a feature but I didn't unlock it yet):
- ways to reduce\automize (late game) clients trash and spill (via perks, strategies, items, ...)
- way to reduce the overflow if too much beer is spilled (mid/late game)
- A way to measure water in the pots (IF small inaccuracy in the quantity, like having 11,20L instead of 11L, do compromise the quality of the beer, but I do like being precise)
MAYBE:I don't know if it's a mechanic that I didn't understand properly, but reviews will drop low scores because lack of amusement, despite me having 8-9 arcades, 2 pool tables and 4 dart boards
CPU: Intel 10700K @5.0Ghz
GPU: ZotacGaming 3070ti - Base Clocks
RAM: 16GB @3200MHz
Using Latest NVIDIA drivers
Temps are low (50CPU - 60GPU) and GPU % usage it's not that high
NO changes in performance with different graphic quality (ultra - potato it's like 2 fps better) nor enabling/diabling the 3 other settings (anti alias, vsync e lights)
Whoa! Thank you so much for such an extensive and thorough feedback! I really appreciate that! Also I am happy to hear you do enjoy the game, it warms my heart <3
And I know I may sound like a broken record but I just want to put you all at ease that the team is constantly reading through all of the comments, but I will let them know to look through your points as well, it will definitely help in testing!
Another one, have any devs actually tried to reload a save? Most things don't save, you lose almost everything.
So, basically it's our fault your game doesn't run as you intended? We have to uninstall, re-install everything, clear all folders, delete, etc, etc, etc. Why not just have us reformat our SSD, only install steam & your game or better yet, get a 100% brand new PC and only have your game on it... 0_0 This is the 1st game I have ever played that blamed all of the players for their game not working, but I've only been playing games since 1985 on a C64, so I'm pretty sure I don't know what I'm complaining about.
We will fix this in the patch? What patch? Not today's patch, cuz that didn't help.
Like I commented, beta at best, should be EA/PTR, not full release, not in this state, not blaming the players for their game not performing as they intended & forcing the players to perform a bunch of work-arounds to try to get this pos to actually run... Cheers!
Sort that out and this garbage of a game will run fine, just like every "mixed" reviews game they've spewed out in the last few years.
