Hi everyone!

Our team is working on fixes based on your feedback, but there are ways to overcome some issues that you frequently report. Here’s a quick FAQ that might help you right away, and also ensure you get a response from us ASAP.

A. Tips for all players

1. My game is not launching / crashing
E-mail us ([e-mail]) with your full PC specifications and crash logs from the following folder after you have tried to launch the game and it crashed: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Star Drifters\Brewpub Simulator - simply zip up the whole Brewpub Simulator folder.

Additionally, here is a list of things that you could try right now in order to fix this issue:
- Clear Download Cache in Steam - open Steam and go to Steam settings, open Downloads tab and use the option "Clear Download Cache". After that restart Steam and see if it helped,
- Repair Library Folder - open Steam and go to Steam settings, open Storage tab, choose the folder that you install your games on, find an icon with 3 dots (settings icon), click on it and then choose option "Repair Folder". After that restart Steam and see if it helped,
- Verify integrity of game files on Steam - select the game you are having problems with from your Steam library, open its Properties panel, open Installed files tab and select option "Verify integrity of game files". After that restart Steam and see if it helped,
- Delete game folder from AppData - go to the following location on your PC: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Star Drifters\Brewpub Simulator and delete the entire Brewpub Simulator folder. After that restart Steam and see if it helped,
- Reinstall the game and run Steam as an administrator - if you find that all of the suggestions listed above won't help, you could also reinstall the game and run Steam as an administrator to see if that helps,
- Update all drivers on your PC - having the latest software installed on your PC might help you with launching the game,
- Lower graphic options in the game,
- Close 3rd party programs that may noticeably affect your PC while playing the game - this includes software like OBS, MSI Afterburner or other software made for recording or altering PC performance.

2. Longer sessions may decrease game performance

Turn the game off and on again, longer sessions can cause the cache to get clogged, so you need to clear it and performance should return to normal. If not, send us ([e-mail]) the PC specs and AppData (C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Star Drifters\Brewpub Simulator), the problem should be fixed in the patch.

3. The game itself switches from window mode to full screen when exiting to the main menu

Change it back manually in the game settings.

4. I can’t see the remaining trash to pick up or places to clean.

Click Shift on the keyboard to see all the mess - even in the air.

5. Pouring two of the same 20L kegs from the store into a larger 40L keg and connecting it to the pub menu will result in beer loss from such a 40L keg when it is poured.

We are working on fixing this bug, but until we do, we recommend that you do not combine two 20L kegs (of the same beer) purchased in the store into one 40L keg, as you may lose beer while pouring it for the clients.
You can connect a single 20L keg (purchased in the store).

6. FPS drops.

If you are experiencing problems with game optimization, we recommend reducing the graphics settings in the game settings to a lower level and reducing the resolution.

Include your computer specifications: CPU, GPU, RAM,
A video where the FPS drops are visible,
Also attach the AppData folder: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Star Drifters\Brewpub Simulator - just pack the whole Brewpub Simulator folder and attach the compressed file to the message.

7. A wheat beer recipe lists the wrong amount of hops in the ingredients list. This problem occurs in a recipe for any size batch of wheat beer.

The correct amount of hops for this recipe is listed in the steps for making it, so please follow them, not the ingredients list.

8. In the recipe for American Porter, in a 30-50 L batch, the amount of Cascade hops listed in the ingredient list (130 g) does not match the amount listed in the production instructions. (126 g).
Please follow the amounts listed in the production steps for this recipe.

New subjects

9. Keybinding - “Put Away Beer Tray” and “Ask for leave NPC”
After changing the "Put Away Beer Tray" and “Ask for leave NPC” keybinds, the [RMB] note still appears on the screen during gameplay. After the change, the newly set keys/buttons on the mouse work correctly, but the message on the UI remains outdated.

10. Keybindings - Interaction with items
If you change the keybinding for the standard interaction button [LMB] to another mouse button, when hovering over an item you will still see the [LMB] as a tip - the newly set keybind will work correctly, but the message on the UI will remain outdated. If the player hovers over trash or stains, they will see a correct button shown in the tip.

11. The bartender blocks herself on to the animation of pouring beer.
The easiest solution is to finish the night - after starting the next night the bartender will no longer be blocked. If you are experiencing this issue, please send us your AppData folder as well as a video showing this issue ;)

12.After launching the game, interaction with the "Load Game" tab in the main menu does not work properly when player has no game saves stored
Despite clicking [LMB] on the tab, it does not open - this is because you have not created any saves. The UI will be able to open “normally” when you create a save.

B. Difficult Recipe Guides

Sweet Beer:
Brew American Pale Ale from the recipe, and after you have transferred the mixture to the fermentation bucket, add 10g of strawberry to the bucket and start fermenting the beer.

Fancy Beer:
Brew American Pale Ale from the recipe, and after you have transferred the mixture to the fermentation bucket, add 10g of cocoa powder, coffee and vanilla (or something else, experiments are welcome) to the bucket and start fermenting the beer

When i alt f4 it breaks every save in my list, they load up fine but my menu in the bar has no options and i cant open it

You need to brew Lager and add vanilla, cocoa and cinnamon or lemon, strawberry and berry.

Hi Guys, Still issues not fixed. Items keep falling and disepearing. Tried to get back via inventory, all were in inventories but when you take them out, they like invisible. and gone as well. So no help with inventory :D
I lost all Aroma ingridiences. Few big pots, just maded a nice chocolate beer, also gone.
Not fear, loosing money in my PUB :D.
Also glasses keep falling in to floor randomly. Please keep up with fixes! ;)
From today when emter the game it is hacking little bit.
Otherwise great game!

p.s. Impossible to continue playing the game. Can`t pass the mission. Did it 3 time creating beers, still stucked. Fermantion buckets diserpear, as soon you lift them up some where higher up to draw beer in to the keg. Lost already like 10 kegs, and 5 fermentation buckets with beer. Quit playing.

Items keep getting lost all the time, even if you place them slowly and carefully. This makes the game really frustrating. I just prepared a second beer keg, and during the shift, when the first one was empty and I wanted to connect the second, it was simply disappeared.

Please fix this asap. If there is already an option to hide all to inventory, it shouldn't be too big of a deal to implement an overview of all inventory and hide only those objects which are missing, right? If it stays like this, the game is too frustrating to keep me playing.

I am at the mission to upgrade the Brewery area. I have plenty of money, but when I click on upgrade, it just causes the money amount I have to blink red, as if I do no have enough money. Is there something I am missing?

about halfway through the opening hours the bartender stands facing the glasses and doesn't move for the rest of the time

I found out that she gets stuck when you put glasses on the leftmost shelf. I removed all glasses from there and I have not had any issues for several game days.

Ahhh okay :) Hopefully when this is fixed it backdates the achievement haha
