Rattler's Canyon?

Where is Rattler's Canyon to talk to Eugene Dawson? I've gone all over the map and can't find him. I though it would be around Rattler's Road but no luck so far. TIA!

At the end of the Rattler's Road go North, you will see at the right the way for him.

Rattler's Canyon is due east of the homestead, and then a bit north, there's a trail of broken stagecoaches along the way, once you go as far east as you can, start following a little canyon pathway north and that leads to the main canyon bit.

Inside the area entrance is Lars, who was kidnapped, northwest of that is the leader of the Dawson gang, the final objective of the first tier of rebuilding the town, and then Eugene's location within the canyon is North and then east of the main circular entrance of the canyon past the rope bridge you pass under to find Lars, he's in a large cage on a rocky peninsula
