Save File and Plain Planks?

Could anyone tell me where the save file is stored? I like to keep a separate copy in case of trouble...

Also I cannot for the life of me find plain planks? I'm trying to make the carver which makes planks, but how do I get them initially to build it?

You should be able to find your save files here.

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DontDieInTheWest\Dont' Die In The West_Data\StreamingAssets\Worlds. Remember that your Steam Library file is on the drive you installed it into

I'm having the same issue finding a third plank to make the carving station. I have found 2 planks and cant kind a third to make it. Lumber station only makes drywood planks.

I accidentally disassembled the house and now can't complete quest for lumberstation.... It wanted me to build a roof

I cannot craft planks at the lumber station. I did find some in crates in the Abandoned Mine
