I don't find quartz anywhere

Hi,
I don't find quartz anywhere, neither in small asteroids and also not in any big one according to the planet map.
Is Quartz still completely missing in the beta or can someone help me here?

You can't find it with the scanner. But you also find Quartz on nearly every big asteroid. It's difficult to describe it. Just try it.

The boulders and rock pillars on the planets can be mined by hand and produce quartz! and no they do not show up with scanning

The dirt on planets have a few textures one is mud looks dark brown quartz is a light color then that fly above the planet you should be able to spot it

This, Its not like copper or iron, you have to mine dirt. Usually its lighter color and if you look close enough you can see little yellow "rocks" in the dirt. This isnt always 100% though. Some planetoids wont have any at all. Mainly you just have to go mine dirt till you see quartz get added.

You can mine the tan boulders and tall rock pillars which will give you 100% quartz, but you have to do it by hand the Miners do not mine it for you.

Don't forget to look on the sides of the planets too. I found some pretty big patches of quartz and stone blocks on the sides

so you need to go looking for dark spots on planets

Its a bit weird for glass to require quartz which is used for the pipes when it is something you have limited quantities to work with...
