Stuck on *ENDGAME SPOILER*

I'm totally stuck at the Talonian's Task. I've had several problems with mission objectives not triggering properly up until now and I can't tell anymore whether I'm missing something or yet another mission broke for me.

I found the blue poly long ago, the related tasks are checked off. I gave the Talonian enough fragments to learn about his final task and that is also checked off. My only active objective
is "The Talonian gave the Arkadians a device capable of perceiving warp space. This could be used in conjunction with a polyhedral to repair the wormhole".

Maybe I'm dense but this tells me basically nothing other than I need to find Arkadians somewhere. From what I could find online, I needed to go to the watchtower (found it ages ago before I could interact with it), crack a binary puzzle without knowing anything about binary which gives a code of 011100. This was supposed to lead to a station somewhere that gives me an item I need to talk to stalkers, who are also the Arkadians? It just leads to an empty system with two planets and a wormhole ring. Go back to the internet and every post about this says to find the blue poly first or the station/objective won't spawn, but I did that already and I went back to it just in case and can't interact with anything.

I'm totally at a loss here. If someone has the answer please just give it to me straight, I'm so burnt on second guessing myself and scouring logs while wondering if something is broken or not. I just wanna finish this after putting all this time into it.

You need one more Talonian Fragment.


There's one you haven't found on a planet east of the Nimion Homeworld. Once you've given that to the Talonian, it will give you some information. Return to the "empty" system unlocked via the Watchtower.
