I am pretty sure first time I ran into them was my 3rd(maybe) emissary portal. given my note about "3rd em exit" in the star south of the warp gate I am listing.
Keep that in mind if somebody tells you "You need to explore harder", it took chasing down an RNG entity when I had a ship good enough to do so to magic me there in the first place.
warp gate at; 43.3 x 22
My first run in with the nimion according to log marking checks.
46.2 x 22.4
(there are flingers by the warp gate)
If you want a "How close to other plots?" comparison, the closest thing to, was my first run in with the Stalkers shooting haulers . Flying straight through the void between there and the above as a quick check now has nothing.
So again. Do not feel bad for not finding them. They are beyond the range of reasonable standard explorations.
I am procrastinating on them with both neutral for later.
which reminds me, up and to the left of all THAT? one time I turned around around when the crew said "Wow space sure is huge!" thinking it was a hint I am at a content border... more stars spotted in the distance moments later.
I really should investigate that too, considering the game went out of it's way to try and trick me into turning around before I could detect those stars.
EDIT: for that unrelated far flung spot.
Another warp gate.
Gold comet worth 150 RP.
Binary star. No RP for flying close like some stars rarely do.
Only the desert planet had anything, +1 neut
No idea if plot makes more spawn later yet
"Captain. Captain please stop exploring"
"Not until we complete a lap of TWO. SQUARES. AWAY-oh another star ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ distance away on 42 x 29... hey is that a detected nebula miles away at 43 x 36-"
"CAPTAIN PLEASE STOP"!
