But if not, you could try spawning it in with the console. I think it should be the ID DEVOUT_WAR.CARGO_WRECK
what command did you use? I can't figure out how commands work
You can try this:
SpawnShip("DEVOUT_WAR.DEVOUT_CARGO_WRECK", GetCoord("DEVOUT_WAR.SHIP_DEBRIS_PLANET"))
This will spawn it pretty much where it should have been. It'll begin to slowly fly away, so better be near it (-31.5x-28.5, the "Desert D2" planet you could explore)
I don't know if a forcedly-spawned ship can be investigated tho
Anyway, all that ship does is give you a log about how "Mission Entry 191: Followed the heavy-asteroid trail as the translated texts indicated. Passed a generation wreck ..."
Later, Lt. Kepler informs you that, hey, you passed such a trail before, maybe follow it.
So you follow the trail starting at the system at -31x-25 extending to the lower left until you reach another system.
I don't think it's neccessary to investigate that wreck, maybe you can just follow the debri-field-trail
Just tried this, unfortunately it spawns as a wreck you can't interact with
SetFlag("DEVOUT_WAR.WRECK_INVESTIGATED")
And waiting a bit ingame.
That's the flag that would have been set upon investigating, and the flag that's checked for the mentioned "debris trail" message.
