Stuck on Redacted
Hello \o

I gathered three keys and exploded Chariots and got the three cubes yet I don't know what to do with "The objective is referred to as "<REDACTED>", even in encrypted logs."
Even after I finished from Chariots still, LT.Gliese suggests that "Gravity Gun" tech could be used to push the unstable cores to the Chariot.

Any lead?

This is a step that has given a some players difficulty.

To confirm, you already managed to the push the cores to the Chariot and it powered up? If you submit your save in game (F8) I'll take a look at what might be blocking you. (include a link to this thread so I know who to respond to)

Thanks for your replay, I submitted :)

I think I didn't understand the mission well. I thought the chariot was the boxes which is shielded right? If not, no I didn't power anything. My bad, but at least I understand now thanks to you :D.

Where are the cores? And what are we flinging them to?

The cores are the glowing purple objects and the Chariot is the enormous dark ship. But note that it's possible to start the Redacted storyline before it can be completed if you stumbled on it by venturing into deep space.

I'm really stuck on this one. I've found the unstable cores and I have the gravity gun. But the Chariot is VERY FAR AWAY. Am I really supposed to try flinging them all that way..? I can't 'grab' them because as soon as my ship starts to move, they won't keep up with me.

There should be some cluster of cores in the same sector as the Chariot, roughly 1200 AU away in various directions.

How do I "grab"? .. I manage to shoot them and I can fling them with that grav-gun.. but grab?.. no key no help and several tries placing the ship so the particles are right in the center of the grav "wave" that keeps building - but as soon as I use the thrusters of my ship, the thing stays where it was in space .. only the ship moves

You can do it "golf" way, i.e. fling the core a couple times in the general direction of the chariot. Or you can carefully push the core with your hull on low throttle towards the chariot, no need to even research the grav gun,
Grab in this case is more of "magnetize" the core towards the center of the wave, but the magnetic field is not strong enough to "drag" the core with it as the ship moves

This quest needs some work. My honest reaction after finally figuring out what to do was to uninstall the game. I'm close enough to the ending to be satisfied to just watch a video rather than waste my time on this particular quest.

I am also stuck with this quest. I submitted my in game save file feed back just now, and after reading this related thread

it seems I also analysed and bought all the CXTA offered cargo before triggering this quest.

So your main mission seems to have stalled because you left the Talonian Chariot before it jumped away. If you go to the Chariot at -33 x -38 it will disappear and the main storyline will progress when you return to Celaeno.

Thank you. I have now confirmed I am unblocked after visiting this chariot again.
I have no idea how I left this chariot before this mission completed, unless I had a very fast moving ship at the time.

To help remove confusion for other people, there should be a way to prevent this happening, for example a new mission task that says 'wait at chariot before leaving' or I am not allowed to move until I see the animation of this ship teleporting away.

Yes, I think it's a rare case, but I'll probably have a crew member chime in if the player moves away before it triggers.
