generally you can highlight over the star in the map and it says, unless that was changed in Jupiter.
There's a quest I'm at right now that just says: "It will be a K-Type star with one large and three small planets."
I basically only know that K-Star=Orange because of watching too much Star Trek and playing Stellaris. But I was still a bit surrprise that the quest mentions a nomenclature that isn't used elsewhere in the game.
It should be K-Type in the quest description and K-Type on the map OR Orange in the quest description and Orange on the map simple for stylistic reasons. (It's okay for the crew to talk about K-Types, but the mission log should show the info that correlates to what's used in the game itself.
well before you could just highlight stars on map and it'd say what they are. i'm guessing thats bugged out. or removed due to future plans.
