I feel like we need a more in-depth lore for the void/void reaper/void dweller beings
So, I had this thought. The void is empty. I mean, no ♥♥♥♥ sherlock, but aside from having a few debris floating around in the vastness of nothing (unexplained, that is) and having a mysterious hunter who is likely the cause of that, there is no story or lore behind it.

I know the void reaper was likely added as a repellent for early-game players to not venture out to some far off planet. I mean I already noticed in the recent Jupiter Patch that resources from anomalies have increased significantly, and certain anomalies I remember from my last playthrough were already pretty bountyful. So it only makes more sense in a way.

At the same time, the existence of a space craft out in the depths of the void who catches unsuspecting prey should be explained in some way or another.

One theory I had was that somewhere hidden in the whole galaxy is a rogue planet with inhabitants who have survived the conditions without a host sun, but somehow need to receive resources in one way or another, so they built this massive hunter to make short work of ships who venture through the void. I mean it would make sense. In other systems they could get swarmed by enemies so looting planets or sectors isn't a safe way, so why not pick out singular ships who are already far out in the void where no one can save them and disassemble them for ressources?

Would also be interesting to take down the void reaper and receive the location of this planet where the player can choose to help the inhabitants. Or maybe even have an even larger version of the reaper very far out in space, outside of the regular borders. That'd also be kinda interesting.

Just a thought which I thought might be worth mentioning. I could likely come up with a whole line of story for that if that would be preferred. I'd like to do it.

Interesting idea! The void reaper story could use some more development-- in the current narrative it's tied in with some other elements, but not explicitly spelled out. But maybe something like your idea could be factored in, I'll keep it in mind.
