Popping textures, fps drops. And demo makes my RTX4070 literally screaming. The old demo wasn't. Lack of optimization, i recon. Otherwise brilliant gameplay and atmosphere :)
game have some collision problems. the hero's legs fall into the ground in subway tunnel
I stopped at the first puzzle (the padlock). I don't have the patience for puzzles like this anymore. Seems like the game could be neat. Add an option to disable or simplify puzzles (like Silent Hill), and I'm in.
It seems that games that require a few brain cells and a piece of paper with a pencil are not for you.

Or maybe puzzles that require paper and pencil aren't a good fit for immersive horror.

Hi. I am so looking forward to playing this, however I downloaded the demo and as soon as it gets past the first bit (shot to back of head) it crashes during loading screen. My PC is high end ( 4090 / 13700) often my CPU does not like UE5 games but this same thing happens in exact same place, multiple times! Played the new silent hill on best setting with very little issues, please help!
Optimize the game so it runs bit smoother loading textures and such. Its puzzle heavy and that's a perfectly fine choice but I would add some more hints or clues hidden around the environment. A lot of this I had to go out on a limb and assume things based on lack of evidence or just truly wanting to move on. These type games have a cringe elitist fan base so I'm probably going to get called an idiot or slow in this thread, but I'm not a genius and a few more well hidden clues for more room temp IQ people like me I think would go a long way in making this game more appealing to a wider audience.

Maybe try forcing Vsync on for this game in Nvidia Control Panel. The game's default is Vsync off, and it was causing a different issue for me.
I might have figured out the ABCD puzzle. First the A's, then the B's, then the C, then the D's. It's not intuitive at all.
"DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."

H...how do I do that, though :(
Game won’t work last section on the train that says “there’s a lot of blood, what happened here? Go through/ go back”

I can move the cursor back and forth between “go here and go back” but it won’t let me select either option, or exit out of the select screen, also I can’t pull up the main menu. I tried restarting the game but it’s still doing the same thing. Not sure why.

Drive: PCIe 3.0 m.2 SSD

Seems to me that my PC is a little bit over the recommended specs, and yet I couldn't get 60FPS in this game. Hell, it dropped to low 30s at times (medium settings and 1080p res). I could only get somewhat stable 60 at lowest possible settings and with upscaling set to balanced, which means that the game is being rendered at 635p.

Unacceptable level of performance.

Hi! I experienced a couple of strange issues.

The first one was on the main menu, where highlighting the different options created some sort of duplicate of the words, which remained on the background while I continued navigating the options on the foreground. That is to say, there were two layers of words (the option titles themselves), but I was only able to interact with the larger ones. I don't know if it makes any sense...

As for the second one, slow rendering and popping were so bad during the first to cutscenes that the caracters' heads were completely missing for almost ten seconds before loading properly.

He jugado hace un rato vuestra demo y voy a comentaros mi opinión respecto a los Bugs.
1° Cuando el personaje interactúa ♥♥♥ algún objeto que esté en el suelo, casi siempre da un pequeño salto como si quisiera subirse encima. ♥♥♥ las papeleras es aún peor.
2° Cuando va a subir la tapia esa pequeña por la zona de trenes (al final de la demo), a veces da un pequeño tirón al subir. Creo que es causado porque crea conflicto entre la animación de subir y la colisión del suelo que está por encima.
Fuera parte si antes de subir, pones al personaje de espaldas a dicha pared, la animación se recrea por delante del personaje como si subiera a la parte estática de las vías del tren.
3° Cuando te enfrentas al primer enemigo, si el personaje retrocede, la luz va disminuyendo aún teniendo la linterna encendida, y no se ve nada, está todo oscuro (junto a la máquina de bebidas).
4° Cuando interactúas ♥♥♥ el baúl de objetos o ♥♥♥ lo de grabar partidas, se recrea incluso estando de espaldas.
5° Cuando estás cerca de los grafitis de dentro del tren se pone a temblar la imagen e incluso parpadea y va pasando como algo transparente (un recuadro) de derecha a izquierda, todo el tiempo. Ésto imagino que ocurrirá porque los grafitis no forman parte de la textura del tren y habéis puesto una maya por encima ♥♥♥ el grafiti, pero no ha quedado bien. Estuve jugando a poner y quitar opciones gráficas y no se solucionaba. Supongo que el fallo está donde os acabo de comentar.
Deseo podáis dejar perfecto el juego, me ha encantado la demo. Un saludo compañeros.
