Microphone won't go down!

I try to edit my mic settings and they won't work. They keep going back up. This is the issue in the config

I'm not sure why it won't execute your user configurations. It looks like it may have gone corrupt. I suggest trying to verif game cache to see if it fixes things. Keep in mind that this will remove custom content if you have any, so I suggest backing it up.

I've already tried that. Do you think maybe the userconfig is overloaded? I don't have a custom userconfig, keep in mind.

Userconfig.cfg is not used at all, the one that is used is config.cfg. Those errors in console you listed are minor and nothing that will be causing any issues.

From what I recall, this issue usually occurs when config.cfg is locked to Read-Only. You'll want to navigate to your ZPS cfg folder (../Steam/SteamApps/common/Source SDK Base 2007/zps/cfg/), right click config.cfg and go to Properties, and make sure "Read-Only" is unticked, then Apply and go try to adjust your volume.
