The game is dead, its not possible to play anymore

Playing a regular game of ZPS is now totally impossible. If you want to play on the 1 or 2 servers that have players then it will be so modded and on such goofy custom maps that its not even really ZPS anymore. Is there ANYTHING that can be done to boost player numbers so it can be played?

There's simply not enough players for specialized 24/7 servers in the game anymore
(24/7 Cabin, 24/7 Lake, 24/7 Harvest, 24/7 Stock maps, 24/7 deathrun etc.).

Best thing we can do is provide a mix of stock maps and custom maps.


That's just how it is nowadays, unless some really popular youtuber/streamer revives the game.

Marketing wasn't the failure point of contagion, it had a launch, it did ok, then it slowly died, just like the vast majority of multiplayer games ever released.

Contagion was a better game than ZPS, but died out because it's not free. And ZPS is on life support, only seeing some mild resurgence every Halloween.

ZPS is a rather niche section of gaming, marketing wouldn't make it some massive success.

Contagion was just bad in general, don't even try to blame it on the marketing. I have friends I met on League that got me to play Hearthstone/Heroes of the Storm, that I played Day Z with, that I got to play (and enjoy) Zombie Panic, and then convinced to buy Contagion.

And it was terrible. The gameplay was boring at all times. It was never fun, or interesting. I felt genuine remorse for getting multiple people to buy and play several times that game.

I think it would of done better if it was properly maintained like making sure updates actually fixed stuff instead of swapping Fix > Problem, Problem > Fix always something wrong or still need adjusting and theres a bunch of things that are like that.

Spawn Camping needs to be goone with 2 solutions :

Add Zombie Spawn protection for 30 Seconds (Anti-Imp4ct) You know Bushmaster likes to shoot them with a revolver?

Increase Zombie Spawn Speed Rate so they catch up to spawn campers (Anti-Imp4ct) You know Bushmaster likes to speedrun?

You then rejoined Conkers Server, made a racist remark against one of the admins on the server and was PERM banned for it.

the thing is accyl we dont need new zombie panic source but the current one need advirtasings + new updates that adds maps,new feuters,new chracters,new weapons,and stuff that pushes the sourcce engine by far as possible than regaining the old players and for me 1,5 or 3k of people will be perfect we dont need an new zombie panic game(it will proably just gonna missed after 1 to 3 months)

or simply someone can create a huge community and start inviteing people to the game and since there is ton of f2p steam players and since this game is free you can always create a community in some weeks and if you want we can create a group like that if it fails then simply we can just go play together and have some fun , other than those i dont think there is any good idea

It shows that Midnight is dumb and cant really take anything lightly even though I called him out for silencing me the other day for stating the facts. Whats the point of dictate a dying game when everyone is trying to enjoy it while it last. Learn to chill.
