fps tweaks for my laptop ?

Hey I'm gonna be playing on a laptop for a while aprox. 2 months.
Specs:Intel Pentium Quad Core Processor N3700 1.6 GHz
Intel HD Graphics
4GB DDR3 Memory
I know that its one of the most low-end laptops but still...
I can run Half life 2 on 60 fps but i cant run zps over 20-45 fps on 640x480 low
My launch options are -dxlevel 80 -high -novid -nod3d9ex
Know any tips to boost my fps ?

Out of curioisty, are devs going to optimize the zombie vision with the update? It would be a good addition but I'd preferably want to see it in a subsequent update so that this one can get out quicker.

@OP I know you said you have already fixed the problem but you could potentially ring out a few more fps by disabling some background processes/applications.

If you read the announcement... No, its not getting optmized. old zombie vision didnt work on 2013 requiring a change as to how it works. You can adjust the new zombie vision in settings though if it causes a massive FPS hit, though.
