Angel Boss in Heaven Zone Difficulty

Is there a way to stop her from healing? She seems to be healing every time she wraps herself in her whip, but it heals her faster than I can do damage. Sometimes the healing effect lasts for a few extra seconds AFTER the animation of her wrapping herself with the whip meaning I can't get any damage in.

When she's wrapped in her whip, you are NOT supposed to attack her, since it heals her. (because masochism)

Yea lmao I had the same issue until it clicked in my head as i watched her hp bar go up as i hit.... that she was in masochist mode....

Not exactly relevant but that was a fun boss, really used all the games mechanics well
