same, i even have the forgotten fungal key and thats not the fungal key

Same issue, I found the forgotten fungal key but not the fungal one so I can't proceed.

I picked up the Fungal Key by talking to the female maid inside the pig mansion while wearing the Pigman costume.

You can buy the costume in the outskirts of the fungal area from Thimble who is standing on a platform you access by falling through the right side of the first bridge you can drop through on the screen with the save point and fungal teleporter.
