so the character still move forward for a few second after multiple normal attacks (when we stop attacking, the char still moving forward while not pressing any move button), like around 2-3 second.
i get that when we do normal attack few times, the char will also move forward, but then this is became a bug when we stop attacking and the char just move forward (i forgot the animation, whether the char just standing or walking), but i didn't press any button.
The main thing so far is there's (what I'm pretty sure is) an animation bug that interferes with casting. The short version is you can't cancel out of the landing animation. This means that if you fire a shot immediately after landing, there's a delay between pushing the button and the shot firing. This sucks, but isn't the worst thing ever. What IS the worst thing ever is that if you're charging a shot and try to fire it immediately after landing it just eats your shot and you get nothing. The charge disperses and nothing comes out. This feels terrible.
Other issues:
When you kill enemies, it takes a couple seconds before you can collect the coins they drop. This means that every time I kill an enemy I have to wait before I move on, which breaks the flow. I wish they became collectible right away, or at least sooner. I just wanna jump and grab them on my way, not stand there waiting for them to "become real". It's not a long time to wait, doing it dozens, or hundreds, of times over the course of play is annoying and makes it harder to get into a groove.
Rebinding the inventory button from select to start makes the start button bring up both the inventory and the pause menu. I didn't mess with it too much, but who knows what kinds of problems it might cause. It'd be nice if I could rebind the pause menu.
You can heal from the inventory/map screen. This is annoying when you didn't want to heal but are used to swapping menu screens with the shoulder buttons.
You should be able to swap menu screens with the shoulder buttons.
You can also heal when using a gachapon machine.
It would be coooool if I could swap confirm and cancel to the Japanese style (confirm on circle, cancel on X) but I understand I'm in the minority there. On the other hand, the game is available in many languages and I know in at least one it's normal to do it this way, so maybe they would appreciate it.
I low key don't like the little screen shake when your charge goes up a level, and would prefer an audio cue or some other kind of visual. For a while I thought I was dropping frames or having graphic hitches or something before I realized what was happening. Maybe an option to turn it off? (Turning off screen shaking effects is pretty standard, regardless, for people with eye problems, but personally I rather like the impact shake on melee strikes. I'd like to be able to turn off JUST the charge shake.)
Quickly filling out the current text box by pressing confirm or select or start or something would be nice. I talk to everyone multiple times and sometimes that means having to listen to a monologue 3-5 boxes long more than once.
OK, that's it from me for now. The game is good so far, I'll be back if I find anything else!
UPDATE: I did the male scene too and the same thing happened.
