Going to tengoku?

I'm kinda stuck, just finished the demon boss on the club and I'm told to go to tengoku... Where's the entrance?

Go to places on your map with seemingly-open doors that you haven't been through. Here's a hint: "Tengoku" is the game's version of Heaven, which means going up.

Honestly, not a rant against you specifically, but has nobody playing this game ever played a Metroidvania before? Nobody seems to know how they work.

I have played a lot in the genre before, it's just this game in particular is kinda confusing in some places, specially when abilities come in and the pixelated map makes it kinda harder to tell when the character icon isn't even on the spot where you're actually standing.

So far I only have left "rat holes" where you normally would slide but I have found no such power up yet and I just runninga round with no crossable or openable door T_T...

like Shadow said, just focus on exploring but looking wais to go up. That's the best clue we could give windout spoilers.

And yes i did play some. i tink it just that, not a lot of people ho do, play here too. (aparently)

Dude... I literally have been searching the damn way to tengoku for like one hour, the last thing I care about are spoilers, I just want to keep playing, I tried going to the chaos castle but you need 6 chaos keys there instead of 3.

If you guys don't want to help just say so >_>...

If you genuinely want help YOU NEED TO BOUNCE ON A GOLD MUSHROOM IN THE SECOND AREA OF THE FUNGAL FOREST TO GET TO TENGOKU

Gotta say this thread is painful, my guy literally asked for the answer and everybody's beating around the bush on em.

And ya I get that plenty of people find the process of exploration and figurin things out to be the reason they play but that's not true for large cross-section of the player base, especially with a porn game. Personally I want challenging combat but I don't wanna waste (I see it as a waste) my time looking for obscure ways to get to new locations. I probably wasted half an hour walking around with absolutely zero reason to think I needed to do what I did to get to Tengoku.

The exact hint you get is "Travel to the great heavens. Tengoku has only one path for mortals... the towering towers, far above the Fungal Forest." That hint had me thinking you needed to go through the Ghost Casle not Fungal Forest. The "towers" part also makes me think of a castle. The inclusion of the Fungal Forest part just made me think the Forest was just a reference point not finding and using a mechanism we've not been introduced to.

Sorry this all came off as ranting but man my dude actually just wanted help and it looked like pulling teeth to get anything.

ive spent 2 hours looking for it by myself, 1 hour looking for the answer on here, and finally i realised... the entrance to the fungal forest is on the first teleport on ghost castle all the way to the right, thanks BadLuckBenny

Thanks for the answers here. I looked at the map for a long time and somehow missed that one door at the bottom of the ghost castle, so I never found the fungal forest, let alone the path forward.

My turn to rant though. I like a good metroidvania as much as the next guy, but sometimes I just miss something, and want help so I can keep playing. Sometimes, after searching around the map, I don't want to spend hours more of bashing my head into the wrong wall. I don't get why some people in this thread are being ♥♥♥♥♥ about it and throwing around insults like "Have you even played 'X' before?". If you don't want to be helpful, then why are you responding to someone asking for help?
