How To install mods?

How do you install mods of the steam version of this game could somone please help because im dying to play some of these mods

Step 1) go down the following path C:\documents\Red Alert 3\Mods; Step 2) copy the mod files in that folder; Step 3) extract the mod files or install the mod (depending on the mods' type); Step 4) right click on Red Alert 3 in the Steam library and pick "properties"; Step 5) click on the "set launch options" button; Step 6) type -ui and click OK; Step 7) once you launch the game, instead of RA3 starting immediately, a user inerface will appear. Click "game browser", select the Mods card, select the mod you wish to run and have fun!

it just has replays in ny Red Alert folder...All my files are on steam

Create the folder in My documents\Red Alert 3 then. If it doesn't work, then go to C:\users\{your username}\appdata\Roaming\Red Alert 3 and create the folder named Mods there. You have to enable "show hidden files and folders" to access "appdata" and beyond.

"game browser" doesnt show up :[

I see the control panel with six tabs but none that say "Game Browser" or anything like that.

Depending on what mod, usually just copying the files in the mods folder and chosing it from the launcher should work, if it doesnt for whatever reason, check out my guide for a mod called "The Red Alert", it explains 2 ways how to get it to work, one with "set launch option" and the other via launcher.

I have the answer!

What you'll want to do is create a shortcut to the RA3.exe file located in "Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Command and Conquer Red Alert 3"

Right click the shortcut you created, click "properties," then in the target field add " -ui" (without the quotation marks) at the end of the target path.

Use this shortcut and NOT the Steam shortcut.

SOLVED: The mods are all for Red Alert 3 and NOT Red Alert 3 Uprising. Hence why you cannot see the mods tab on the browser.

work for cracked Xd i hope it supports if not im sad cuz buying red alert 3 steam one is wasting money if it didn't work so please tell me if it doesn't work its a dissapointing for red alert 3 :(

well youtube helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79c52QokrHE&t=227s that give cracked but it says don't update patch or it won't work and ppl says download 1.12 patch but none of em works

this works 100% just create the "mods" file

hey i knoow it has been a lot of time but you know how to open mods on steam? i did the -ui in opening parameters and cannot get it to work
