Mirage Tanks do not fire?
Ok great. They hide. Then they just sit there lettting the enemies go by to destroy my base. What the hell? (I'm on the last allied mission.)

In RA2 they were great defense units because they... you know... fired on the enemies when they got close then re-hid to get the next one. You could put them around the map and they were effective at not letting units get near your base.

Is there some button I have to click to make them fire when the enemy is near? I just don't get why they would change that.

I haven't been using them up until now, and I don't use them for offense, so are they worthless?

If there's anything I hate in a game like this, it's having to micromanage every single unit individually. They should just do the thing they're designed to do.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Eh, if you hate the micromanagment aspect in RTS games then they might not be for you. Take your time learning the shortcut and hotkeys and you might appreciate this genre even more.

Alt+A to set your selected united on aggressive stance; making them shoot enemy unites and buildings in their sight.

Keep in mind that Mirage tanks have weak armor to compensate for their high damage output and cloaking capabilities.

As for tips for the Allied final mission, make good use of your Chronosphere and send Tanya to the far off base once they build their Vacuum Imploder. Make good use of the structures around you and have Javelins garrisoned in them coupled with half a dozen of jet fighters to counter Kirovs.

Thanks man. I didn't realize there were stances in this game. In RA2 they just did what they were supposed to. I didn't have to change anything.
