Back in 1996, before many of you were born or old enough to use a computer, Westwood put Kane in Red Alert 1 and they originally *intended* to have the Tiberium and RA universes the same. *HOWEVER* before they released Red Alert 2 and CnC 2, they *threw that idea out.*
Period. The end. That's it. That's all. That's all there is. Everything else is just fan headcanon. "Tiberium is if the Soviets win Red Alert 1" is a popular theory (because the Soviet ending in Red Alert 1 implies this, but like I said, THEY DROPPED THE IDEA) but it's canonically just as wrong as all the rest. Westwood decided this years and years ago. That's all there is to it. No amount of Youtube, no amount of fangirling will change this.
