This game is really silly.

In comparison to the originals. (Red Alert 1 and 2) this feels like a comedic game, And the introduction of models and Tanya suddenly being a blonde? This does not belong in a red alert game.

I mean, it's pretty well established that red alert 3 is an attempt to reboot the franchise. The inconsistencies go pretty hand in hand with time altering mechanics. The story is fun and less serious, I suggest letting it humour you as opposed to forcing it to be what you wanted from red alert 2.

Ra2 does not compare to Ra3, Sure, There is some sillyness, But nothing close to Ra3.

though i think the tiberium universe is by far the best C&C series.

I just don't get why people ♥♥♥♥ on the 3rd game so much. It's really fun online, you can do crazy stuff in multiplayer, it's got a huge skill cap.

Red Alert 2/YR is pretty silly.

They introduce Yuri the phychic, has time travel sequences that involves dinosaurs, a space battle on the moon, Chrono Legionnaires, Yuri's army is pretty much Power Ranger knockoffs & mini hulk, missions that involve saving or taking over monuments for some reason and none of this mentions all the cheesy moments in the campaign like General Carvillel stirring his coffee with the enemy flag or Romanov playing with is turtle ect lol.

Red Alert has always been the silly brother of the C&C franchise, I think RA3 fits in quite nice. Besides, if you're looking for a purely serious experience from a game that features psychic schoolgirls and mini-robot mechs then you might be looking in the wrong place.

What's so funny about it? The Allied Campaign's Officer & Tanya ask the Allied Commander out on a date for 2 games once the Allied Campaign is over.

Red Alert 2 is still the best Red Alert game. Command & Conquer is more about fun.

I mean, I like the idea of seeing odd concepts in an RTS such as Teleportation, Time Travel, Weather Control, Prism Weapons, Psychic Weapons & so on.

RA3 is an extremely fun game to play online and still fair bit more polished than RA2.
