Try to start the game in a different resolution. Somtimes that is the problem. Hope i can help you if not wrote me and we find a way to get the game running.

Go to Steam\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\RA3.exe == > Right click RA3.exe ==> Properties ==> Compatibility ==> change the 'setting' section ?

Thank you very much. You help me solved it. I want to link my GPD to a bigger screen via HDMI cable so that I can have fun playing online PVP game. But it kept telling me error.

By the way, in my situation, I just ran into windows mode and adjusted the resolution setting into 1024x800. Next time I just launched it fullscreened without any trouble.

Hope this can also help any other GPD user who wants to play RA3 on a normal size screen.
