Broken puzzle in the desert temple?

I'm near the very end of the desert temple in the room with a series of the sun/moon/flower/heart tile puzzles leading to six braziers, and either this puzzle isn't following any logical rules established so far or it's somehow broken for me. I can follow the sequence to get across one way in the middle set, but then the same doesn't seem to work going down to light either of the bottom two braziers. Every path I've tried fails going to those lower two areas. Surely I'm missing something, right? This room isn't actually borked or something, is it?

For anyone else who looks- it's sun moon flower heart across ALL of them. Say you're on the top set and you go sun/moon/flower/heart/sun to get across, You have to start the next set with MOON, not sun. You're continuing the sequence. As I recall i went top right,, bottom right, top left, bottom left, then keep continuing the pattern and go up and light the last 2 braziers.

There does seem to be a bug, there is no possible way to do the bottom left after doing top right bottom right top left. There is no sun to go to after the first 5 tiles of the combination.

After going for moon there is no sun to get to.

OK nevermind I figured it out. For anyone else who gets stuck you have to backtrack and not to right after lighting the bottom left torch.

I'm more having an issue that I tried to teleport back to that room, but cannot and due to reliance on minecarts, I appear to be soft locked from progressing. Is there a way to reset the minecarts to the starting position?
