Unfortunately, there's some minor bugs with the official implementation. Spell effects are not scaled to screen, for example.

if you aren't visiting pcgw for every game with an ultrawide monitor, you need to start

I asked about it multiple times. No answer. There is a community mod to fix 21:9 aspect ratio.
oh yeah ? i never even tried it myself just saw it few months back :D
I bit the bullet and played on 2560x1440 (16:9) since it's an indie title i can somewhat tolerate it. (unlike elden ring)

thank you. thats very helpful.
i use an app called "flawless widescreen" for elden ring, it works great, just download it, launch it, select eldenring in the supported games list then launch elden ring. you even get some neat options like removing chromatic aberration, adjust fov, and increase maximum frame rate. the only downside is you need to deactivate easy anticheat before doing this, eac thinks flawless widescreen is a "game hack" the same as cheat engine (but its not the same)
- Fixed Ultrawide support
yoooo
yes ive been playing for several hours in 21:9 with no issues, its fully patched. happy hunting.
