Edit2: This is now fixed for release as of the 1.0.1 patch, mod no longer does anything.

Unfortunately, there's some minor bugs with the official implementation. Spell effects are not scaled to screen, for example.

if you aren't visiting pcgw for every game with an ultrawide monitor, you need to start

I am surprised that this issue wasn't fixed for the 1.0 release.

I asked about it multiple times. No answer. There is a community mod to fix 21:9 aspect ratio.

oh yeah ? i never even tried it myself just saw it few months back :D
I bit the bullet and played on 2560x1440 (16:9) since it's an indie title i can somewhat tolerate it. (unlike elden ring)

just extract the contents from v1_0.7z from Lunacid---Ultrawidescreen-fix (v 1.0) into the Lunacid installation folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Lunacid), that's it.

for real? that's even worse than not supporting 21:9.
Lost In Vivo don't have 4:3 support either and it's the same developer. I know it's not a pattern anymore but you can count on the fingers the games that don't support 4:3 aspect ratio. Too bad, this game (and Lost in Vivo) would look rad on my CRT.
I just tried 4:3 and it works. HUD elements on the top are a bit low but other than that looks fine.

i use an app called "flawless widescreen" for elden ring, it works great, just download it, launch it, select eldenring in the supported games list then launch elden ring. you even get some neat options like removing chromatic aberration, adjust fov, and increase maximum frame rate. the only downside is you need to deactivate easy anticheat before doing this, eac thinks flawless widescreen is a "game hack" the same as cheat engine (but its not the same)
