Acid = drug
That's how I read it
But "cid" you ought to pronounce more like "sit" but with "d" at the end, not like "kid". It's because it's latin.
"Cid" can be a variant of "cis", which means "kill" or "cut" so if wanted to translate the title the english it would mean probably a "killing moon"
Another option is that it could mean "fall", then translation would be "moonfall".
It depends if it's a form of a word "cis" or if it's just a word "cid"
Personally i would go for the option of a "moonfall" because of game lore.
@I know i edited it a few times, in case someone read it already, i just started writing about it before fully reading into it.
Seems to be a combination of: Luna, which in latin means "the luminous one", the moon, and Acid, which is both related to the creation myth of the world, and the overall cosmic + acid trip feeling of the game. As explained in the manual: "Silver liquid fell from the moon and made a deep passage into the earth". The silver acid, dripping from the moon, created a massive hole in the earth, and the tunnels beneath.

think the acid here is more a reference to the moon dissolving/melting
