Just got the Moonlight Sword, very nice

I recognise that scene, I can't remember exactly what game it was, but I know what Kira was going for there and that was a very cool and unexpected reference. If you see this, I would just like to say, nice.

It's a reference to Fromsoftware games. Moonlight Sword first appeared either in a King's Field game or in an Armored Core game, I'm not sure. But the Moonlight Sword appears in all of their games since Demon's Souls.(Except Sekiro.)

I'm aware it first showed up in Kings Field, but that specific area with the tree comes from a different game I'm sure. All I can remember is ninjas and motorbikes, it was an absurd game if I'm remembering it right.

You're thinking of the Ninja Blade one then. Its one of the few other fromsoft games that has the moonlight sword stabbed/resting in a tree specifically. Kingsfield Ancient City (kf4) being one of the rare others

That's the one, I just remember it from a youtube video I watched about it a while back. An absurd game, and a neat reference.
