Who the hell is David?
Whilst holding the death scythe and heading to the boiling grotto, I was trying to level it up when I saw one of the specters was named David. I have no idea what it could be referencing.

There's a pair of gravestones in the grotto that give a message when interacted with, those may be the names on the graves, I don't exactly remember.

Those poor buddies. Even though the game treats it as "bad" I feel like killing Death and doing his very annoying job for a while was probably a really nice little break for him.

If I had to guess. Its a reference to the Jeff and David show. They were some of the earlier people to do a lets play of the game and so Kira put a nod to them in one of the updates. The graves also reference that they tried using lithomancy on everything to see if it did anything.
