Drop rate for Jailor's candle range weapon?

Does anyone know the drop rate for this ranged weapon? I got it the first time I got to the Terminus prison after killing like 5 jailors, and then I died to that elevator with spikes deeper into the level... Didn't see that would instakill me, I thought the elevator would be a shortcut to somewhere lmao.

And now I've farmed for like 2 hours, still no Jailor's candle... It has a way higher dmg than Wicked Staff

OKay finally go it, so it took me overall about 2hours and 40 minutes, I defeated around 250-300 jailors (by my rough estimate), could it be that it's drop rate is like 1%? Maybe less? Would be nice if we had drop rates for all weapons

I had it both times like the first jailor...guess I am lucky. Than again the sicsaurian weapons took me ages.

The wiki lists most items as a 2% or 3% drop rate. Not entirely sure how accurate this information is or how it was obtained. I must've lucked out as on my 100% file the only items I really had to farm were the Golden weapons and the Summon Snail ring of all things. Has me somewhat wondering if there is any kind of in game mechanic that increases drop rate, especially since the description of the thief class states it has an easier time finding items.

I've heard having high lunacy increased drop rates, found more drops when i was at full lunacy too but that could be coincidence

I've lost count of how many Jailors I've killed, and still no weapon. I've also killed more Mares than I can remember and no Fire Sword.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, but the Mares don't drop the fire sword.

Item for Fire Sword is found somewhere, not dropped by enemies.

I have had extreme luck in my run. I get most drops very quickly it seems, including the Jailor's Candle which I picked up after only killing 2 or 3 of 'em.

Just got the candle. I have a theory: setting the Jailors on fire burns their candles.
Don't attack the candle, use Light-based attacks to kill them quickly. I recommend using Moonlight.

Item for Fire Sword is found somewhere, not dropped by enemies.

Look for a Broken Hilt in the Fetid Mire, then bash the paperweight against snails at point-blank range until you can unjam the internal magitek.

You can either slash the candle out of their hand or burn it completely by setting them on fire. Avoid doing that and I think you get a better chance.

I managed to get it after farming for about 30 minutes, I guess it was luck
