BEST METHOD FOR WEAPON LEVELING DISCOVERED
The answer is to literally beat a (un)dead horse. Go to the Sealed Ballroom, and kill one of the malformed horses. Now start charging up the weapon and beating it over and over. You should start to see the XP tick up. Much quicker than the "archive anarchy" method.

Hollowed enemies do not leave a corpse behind after you kill them. The Malformed horse's body does not despawn, and you can just hit the dead body over and over. I promise you, this method makes leveling take like 3 minutes or less.

The enemies right before Abduls Gate literally level a weapon up in a couple of kills.

Not every weapon can damage them. They have some complete resistances. The thing with my method is you literally just kill one thing and just spam M1 until you're done. To each their own, but as stated. Hollowed cannot be damaged by all weapons, so it won't work to try and use them in some cases.

killing 3 of those enemies are worth way more then hitting a corpse.

They're only immune to light weapons, outside of the shining blade every other weapon will work fine. They're the only enemy that's a threat to vampires.

Completely immune to light damage. = cannot kill with that damage type.

Also unrelated. If you kill a vampire thrall, it leaves behind its skeleton. The red bones. Next time you kill a thrall, just shoot those bones with "Blood Strike" and see what happens.

Shining blade doesn't need to be leveled because it's the secondary superior form. Shadow blade is actually really good if you just turn up brightness to counter the blindness you become immune to basically everything it's actually a bit OP. So yeah, there is a reason to keep Shadow Blade if that's something you want to try.

They're the only enemies with that immunity, as I said there are only a few light weapons. Vampire hunter can't be upgraded, silver rapier is an upgrade of the rapier and shining blade which is a better version of shadow blade. Every other weapon can be used to level off them. It revives them its the same method used to get a unique dagger.

Considering most enemies have a resistance to dark its not worth the resistance, especially since its better to avoid damage to begin with.

Well, alternatively. You can keep it on the backslot and just pull it out every time you're about to get hit with poison or other negative effects to completely negate them. Personally, with the way I play the game. It barely matters what weapon I have. I overpower everything. I have leveled my character far beyond what was probably ever intended. I can one shot most things with a weapon that only has 50 base damage if that tells you anything. My ATK is over 70 right now.

That's because elemental weaknesses are more important then raw damage, making light and fire elements the more preferred out of every other type.

With an auto clicker sure, for tanky enemies which would be bosses it’s a battle between your finger and mouse.
