Corrupt key (VHS Quest) Can not hit or drop?

As the title says i have gone to the spot that the VHS points out to, i have tried hitting it multiple times, saving and coming back to hitting the invisible mirage that holds the corrupt key, but no dice, is this currently glitch or is it just a VERY specific spot?

Yeah, i did it, and relaunching the game showed up in my inventory, abit odd but ey we got it, onto the next part
