Here is how you bind mouse 4 and 5 buttons
Copy these directly to the config file for whatever you're trying to bind to them, it should work.

<Mouse>/forwardButton

<Mouse>/backButton

What about left and right CTRL and Mouse Scrolling? This is a horrible system.
Yes it fixed keybindings not saving, but we should have a menu that saves to a config.

Thanks tho.

thanks but that's so dumb. who calls Mouse 4 "mouse back" or forward? I don't even know which one it's supposed to be
That's the default assignment for most mice. If you open a web browser those buttons will usually be forward and backward.

If these dont work for you, try removing the keyboard binding for whatever youre trying to bind. That worked for me.

Nito's trick helped, removing the keyboard bindings first and then adding the <Mouse> lines works

Can't believe we have to code to bind buttons.

The epitome of laziness and gaf'edness on the dev's part. I love indie games and supporting them but some kind of reciprocal support in the way of accessibility for the consumers would be nice.
