Sorry to break this to you but all of the words you used in that post are also made up. Most things we deal with are made up. The country you live in is an abstraction. Most things aren't rigid nor concrete. Like gender.
Also, most things humans do that aren't directly related to survival are for self-gratification.
edit: dungeon crawler xd
No. Kira posted posted an announcement addressing this specifically, arguments are being made in bad faith by people who are choosing to ignore it.
Pronouns are there to be inclusive but also to allow people to get more invested in their character from a roleplay perspective. It's great for those of us who want it, otherwise it's easy to ignore it. The only people this effects negatively are people who choose to feel outraged at everything, which is the real childish behavior here.
Some people who are quoting my tweet have also been leaving out my second one, where I clarified a bit because I thought it could be interpreted badly. I said this under my “I’m adding em, Just to make people mad”,
In a fantasy world you should be able to be whatever you want."
In that address Kira says that the original intention was to make people angry. Then thought about the inclusion aspect but couldn't justify it in the game play. Then had the reason when he got mad. It was mostly about anger.
And as for that second quote about being whatever you want in a fantasy world I kind of disagree with. I personally prefer if a world is built with some thought rather than, "Lol, its fantasy, who cares?" If the world build supports such things than go for it. In the case of Lunacid, since its a post modern setting, I guess it can fit. But the point remains, in the end it was added because Kira was angry as is being self admitted in the address.
