Still weird, to have it on itch, but not GOG. Maybe the low barrier to entry is one reason. GOG's curation policy seems somewhat similar (if not stricter) to how it was with Steam pre-Greenlight.
IIRC GOG straight up denied the ability for Spookys Jumpscare Mansion to be on it so IDK if Lunacid will ever come to it
At the moment, the Steam version is available on HumbleBundle in a bundle. Not getting it there myself, though - Lunacid is the only game in the bundle that appeals to me and the charity, while nice (mental health support for young people), is not one of the causes I prioritise.
LOL, Itch isn't sketchy, it's just a mess. It's a legit store, but it is VERY VERY indie-focused and nowhere near as slick as GOG or Steam.
I recommend you check it out sometime because it's great for finding weird ass free games and just games in general that you might not have come across elsewhere. Sometimes they do these really huge bundles of 100+ games for next to nothing. You will never be able to get around to playing most, but it's fun af sifting through them and trying them out here and there for 30 minutes. A lot of good, well-known indie games are on Itch as well and many even got started there due to the lower barrier of entry.
