Only m&K plugged in = jitter
Plug controller in and use that to play = no jitter
Why I said immediately afterwards what's happening here is a different issue
The camera is smooth as butter using a controller. I'm using a 60Hz monitor. Things i've tried to no avail, include:
- Disabling V-Sync and VRR (G-Sync), which expectedly makes it look worse
- Unplugging all other USB-devices
- Using different DPI-settings
- Using a different mouse
- Clean-booting Windows 10, to rule out third-party program/service conflicts
- Verifying the game files
Seems to be a pretty well known issue, though, judging by 1+ year old threads, like this one. In fact, searching for something, like "camera stutter" yields many such threads, with no fix sadly.
Besides an unused USB device being plugged in there hasn't actually been any other cause since Kira fixed the fixed update thing
I know the hand is still, weirdly not smooth on mouse for whatever reason
Yeah i'v tried a couple times now and i have resorted to just use a controller, It definitely is a night a day difference with how smooth it is but i'm gonna be honest mate I don't think we are gonna find a fix and apparently what other people found has been fixed.
Its hard to prove what we are experiencing and while I wish I could enjoy using the mouse honestly the game plays fine with a controller anyway so its not a deal breaker for me atleast.
If enough people also experience what we have and chime in maybe it might get looked into but other than that not much we can do.
Anchor placement is hard in Unity.
I can confirm Lost in Vivo did not suffered from this btw.
