can't pick up corrupted key?
followed vhs guide, hit the top left corner with vampire hunter sword, key spawned on the ground but I can't pick it up sadly -- any ideas?

oh nonono.. please tell me you didn't save..
I'm gonna report this bug to Kira, since the original method shows a projectile being used.. I'm surprised no one tried melee

thankfully no, I didn't save! Going to try again in a day or two, maybe it was just something on my end. where can I find that lighting projectile used in the video? I just stacked up coffins to reach.

Ah, that's nice to hear hahaha

The lightning spell is located within the accursed tomb. From the warp crystal to the left on the upper area. Here's a map if you want

Not to blow up this thread but I actually was able to obtain the key using the melee method. Same thing happened where I couldnt pick it up off the ground, i ran back a bit to where one of the sitting monks were, ran toward the key, and it was added to my inventory when I was about where the VHS shows the lightning being shot from. Could be a location based pickup?

thanks for that accursed tomb map!! i was viewing your other maps online but it hadn't been updated with that.

Ooh, I'm glad you didn't get softlocked ahaha
The corrupted key has no use as of now (although I feel like it will with next update) but losing a key item is always frustrating lol

Just to clarify, I only uploaded my maps to GameFAQs and Steam. Any other place is a re-upload not made by me.

Glad to report it's still bugged. But in my case I decided to change location, save and reload. So no key for me I guess.

Solved.

For anyone struggling with this bug:
1. Download the official save editor from Discord, Reddit, or find a link here somewhere. DON'T try to edit your save with text editors like Notepad++.
2. Copy your save file just in case. It's in the game directory, for me it was G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lunacid\LUNACID_Data\SAVE_1.MIDNIGHT
3. Open the save file with the save editor.
4. Look at the bottom of the screen and scroll your items list to any empty slot with "Enter text..." message.
5. Type in "Corrupt Key01".
6. Save and launch the game. 

Already got the achievement for white VHS C:
